He was born in 1952 and got the degree in physics (Roma, 1977) with a thesis about Information Thechnology. After a fellowship of four years in oceanography, in 1982 he was employed by CNR as phisical oceanographer at ISMAR Ancona section (formely IRPEM : a fhishery research institute). He works much better with instruments than paper, partecipanting to a large number of cruises (Adriatic, Mediterranean, Southern Ocean). He signed about 20 papers of JCR rewiews. He partecipated at 11 national expedition in Antarctica. From 1986 he is P.I. of Oceanographyc Unit in Ancona section of ISMAR. From 2008 he held a course in Oceanography as Contract Professor at University of Bologna.

He held a Bachelor degree in Biotechnology Sciences at the Università of Urbino, Italy in 2007. He has a contract with the CNR-ISMAR of Ancona and is involved in studies on pesticides in fish and sediment and analysis of IPA in sediment of the Adriatic sea. Nutrient and chlorophylls analysis in sea water during oceanographic cruise.

He has over 10 years involved in oceanography cruises in Adriatic and Mediterranean sea. He is involved in physical and environmental activity research. He has experience in water column sampling with multi-parametric instruments and Niskin bottle and sediment samplings.

She holds a degree (MSc) in Biological Sciences from the University of Ancona in 2000. Since 2000 she collaborates with the Institute of Marine Sciences (ISMAR, Ancona) of the National Research Council (CNR). She has got her background in Chemical Oceanography of the Adriatic Sea and Antarctic Sea. She acquired knowledge on chemical analysis of seawaters and sediments. She is author of more than 30 scientific papers and reports. She has been member of the development staff in several National and International gear related research projects. Since 2001 she is member of the Italian Society of Marine Biology.

She held a Bachelor degree in Biological Sciences at Università Politecnica delle Marche in 2006. Now she is preparing a degree thesis at the Oceanography Unit of CNR-ISMAR about the biodegradation of polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAH) in marine sediment of the Adriatic Sea.

She holds a degree (MSc) in Marine Environmental Science from the University of Bologna in Ravenna, obtained in October 1997. Since 1998 she collaborates with the oceanography group of Institute of Marine Sciences (ISMAR, Ancona) of the National Research Council (CNR) where she has gained a strong background in the analysis of oceanographic data (data processing, visualization and programming), particularly regarding Adriatic Sea and Antarctic Sea dynamics. She is author of about 50 scientific papers and reports. She has been member of the development staff in several National and International gear related research projects. Since 1998 she is member of the Italian Society of Oceanography e Limnology (A.I.O.L.).

He was born in Italy, 1963. He holds a degree in Agronomy, University of Perugia (1990). He has more than 18 years researcher at the CNR whit experience in chemical processing in soil, groundwater and sea water of organic and inorganic compounds and pollutants. In particular in first seven years he performed experiments in field trials on the behaviour and dissipation of the pesticides in soil and ground water. From June 1997 he has been working on the Adriatic Sea. He has participate how head chief to numerous oceanographic cruises for physical and chemical samplings in all Adriatic and Ionian sea. He is taken care of the processes biogeochemical in the water column, in the water sediment interface and interactions of pollutants and xenobiotics in marine sediments and fish. He is author/coauthor of more than 50 scientific publications, more than 50 book of abstract of conferences and more than 20 technical reports.

He held a Bachelor in Computer Science from the University of Camerino. Since 1997 he collaborates with the Institute of Marine Sciences (ISMAR, Ancona) of the National Research Council (CNR). He has participate to numerous oceanographic cruises for physical, chemical and geological sampling in Mediterranean and Anctartic sea. He is involved in physical and environmental activity research, particularly in data acquisition systems and software development.
