WP6 Scientific synthesis, external advice and dissemination

 

This WP has the aim to link all the various scientific project activities which involves very different subjects and different researchers in order to create a useful synthesis of the results and allow all the project participants to be aware of the progress of the project. It will act also as a kind of scientific steering committee and it foresees the participation of experts external to the project with significant expertise in small pelagic fisheries in term of acoustic survey, stock assessment and ecosystem modelling. Moreover it will plan the dissemination activities through the web site, scientific reports to SAC GFCM and scientific papers. The WP will consist of 2 workshops, which will run together to the main project meetings in order to reduce the travel budget. One with a scientific steering purpose, after one year of the project, when the main background information has been collected; and one at the end of the project which will deal principally with the scientific synthesis of the results.
